Diskret Typewriter

The exquisite Diskret typewriter was not just a typewriter. It also had a very special feature in that it could be used as a cipher machine. This was achieved by rotating its outer index ring in relation to the inner index ring to scramble the relationship between the two character indexes. In other words offsetting the two index rings to create a coded output. The person receiving the coded message would have to know how the two rings were offset to read the coded message.
